HTC One 2014 in Silver Shows Up on Mr Blurry Cam

Unlike Samsung, every other OEMs upcoming flagship always gets leaked out ahead of the announcement. Sometimes we think that these are intentional leaks to help hype beast the official announcement and get more buzz around the upcoming device. Right now, HTC’s event is set for March 25th. Which they are doing a joint event in London and New York City, and of course we’ll be covering it.

We’ve already seen press renders of the HTC One in gold, black and silver. Now we’re seeing the silver version appear on mr blurry cam. As you can see in the image above, and the others in the gallery below, it looks exactly like the press renders we had seen previously.

According to the member that uploaded these photos to HardForums, this is an evaluation model from HTC. He’s also reporting that HTC has a 4MP front-facing shooter. Also saying that this handset feels “thinner than the 2013 ONE and taller”. Now obviously we’ll have to take that with a grain of salt until HTC gives us the official dimensions and weight of the new HTC One. Right now we’re looking at a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD display, 2GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or 801 processor inside, along with a dual camera module on the back, which we’re still trying to figure out exactly what that is for.

The silver one actually looks better on the blurry cam than in the press renders, well in my opinion. It looks pretty nice, but I’m wondering how the dual-camera’s on the back are going to work out. I really liked the UltraPixel camera last year, but I think they need to up the megapixel count for those that think the megapixel count is all that matters with cameras, which most of us know that’s not the case.

Who’s excited for March 25th and the new HTC One? Let us know in the comments below.
