Image Leaks Pop Up For The Sony Xperia G

One of the upcoming devices from Sony is called the Xperia G, which we’ve heard some stuff about, but as of today some image leaks have popped up of the device, at least that’s what the claims are saying about the images. The photos leaked come to us from @vizileaks, and seem to show a device that could be the Xperia G, but there are do discerning finer details to prove such claims. It does appear to be smaller than the Xperia Z1, and you can plainly see in the images at least certain details of the phones physical features.

Looking at the photos vizileaks seems to be comparing the sizes and the overall design of the alleged Xperia G to another Xperia device which is of course the Xperia Z1, and there are a couple things you can pick up just by scanning the images, like the placement of the camera, the color and look of the edges surrounding the phones exterior, as well as outer physical buttons that dictate certain phone functions. The unknown Xperia device in question has a dedicated camera button, for those all important impromptu photos of course. There’s also the power button more near the middle that we’re used to seeing. It also looks like the new device has the microSD slot towards the top of that edge as shown by the tiny writing. It’s kind of hard to make out, but it definitely looks like the microSD card symbol. You can tell from the new rear shot of the device that the camera placement is different from the Xperia Z1, as it looks like Sony has opted to center the camera lens along with the LED flash on this new device. If you look closely towards the top of the phone that’s on the bottom you can also see the charging port, which is micro USB. @vizileaks didn’t just leak images of the supposed Xperia G. They were kind of enough to mention specs as well. The Xperia G is supposed to be adorned with the 4.7-inch display. it’s also reportedly got 8GB of storage and an 8MP rear camera. Connectivity is said to be LTE, and RAM should be at 1GB. This is definitely not Sony’s high-end device for this year, but it isn’t too bad either.
