A Dutch blog, Android Planet, has gotten their hands on an internal document from T-Mobile Netherlands, which shows the release dates for the HTC One 2014, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and the Huawei Y530. Which the release dates don’t sound all that surprising given the dates of these events. Sony and Samsung having theirs on Monday, February 24th, and HTC on March 25th.
According to this leaked document, it looks like the Galaxy S5 will be launching on the 9th week of this year, which is February 24th to the 2nd of March. Which pretty much means it’s launching – at least in the Netherlands – the same week it’s announced. Next up is the Sony Xperia Z2, which is supposedly being announced next week as well, and it should be out in week 11, which is March 10-16th. Then the HTC M8 or The All New One, is coming in Week 13 which is March 24-30th. So that means HTC is looking to launch the HTC One 2014 as soon as it’s launched as well.
Of course, we need to warn you that these are not confirmed dates. So take this with a pretty big grain of salt. This could also be the dates of these phones being announced and not available on T-Mobile Netherlands. Although these smartphones do normally launch worldwide pretty quickly compared to the US. But we’d love for all of these to launch in the US as soon as it’s announced, right?
We should be learning more about the Xperia Z2 next Monday at Mobile World Congress as well as the Samsung Galaxy S5. Then HTC’s event is on March 25th, and I’m not sure about the Huawei Y530, but that may be announced at Mobile World Congress next week as well. But then again, we don’t really care too much about it, because it’ll probably never come to the US.
