Animated GIFs are awesome, right? This morning, after the gold HTC One (2014) or The All New One, was leaked out, the folks over at Droid Life put together a nice animated GIF where they transformed the HTC One (2013) into the HTC One (2014). It looks pretty cool. And you’ll notice there’s not a whole lot of differences between the two, besides the colors. Although there is a gold HTC One (2013) as well.
The new HTC One is going to look pretty nice, even if everyone wanted a whole new design. By now, we should all know that minor design changes are a good thing. I mean the two biggest smartphone OEMs in the world have been doing that for years and they are still selling a ton of phones and tablets. Once more, the design of the HTC One was heavily praised. Not just by us in the tech community, but those “average” consumers we hear so much about.
Some of the things you’ll notice with the new HTC One, is that the speaker grill appears to be a bit smaller on the new One, as well as the addition of a second flash and camera on the back. You’ll also notice that the bezel’s are slightly smaller, but the HTC One still has a big bezel at the bottom, for the HTC logo. Since the HTC One (2014) has on screen buttons, it looks kind of awkward. But at least we’re back to three buttons, instead of two, that we had on the HTC One, which was a bit strange.
Nevertheless, we’ll have fun staring at this animated GIF for hours, since we still have about a month before it’ll be announced, and we’re bound to see a ton more leaks for this device very soon. How many of you are excited to see the new HTC One unveiled on March 25th in London/New York City? Let us know in the comments below.
