We’re bringing back a feature we started last summer. Where our readers can send in some questions to us and we will answer them the best of our availability. Now sometimes we don’t know the answers to the questions, so we’ll direct you elsewhere. Which still helps out our readers. Let’s get started with our first question.
Haaris asks: I want to be someone like koush what should i learn and study?
Well Haaris, I assume you mean that you want to be a developer? In that case, you’ll want to check out the Android Developers site. They have all kinds of tips for building your first app and moving on from there.
Brandon asks: Will the Galaxy S5 be a better choose than the rumored “nexus 6” trying to decide if I should wait!
This is a tough question. It really depends on what you’re looking for. The Galaxy S5 will be available on April 11th (shortly after depending on your carrier if you’re in the US), while the next Nexus won’t be available until this fall. If you’re looking for a device with a great camera, great battery life and a microSD card slot, than the Galaxy S5 is the one you should pick up. If you want the most up-to-date version of Android and a cheaper unlocked device, then the Nexus is the one you’ll want.
Randall asks: Been holding out for the Nexus 10 2, is it ever going to show?
That’s a good question Randall. Here at Android Headlines, many of us have been waiting for the new Nexus 10. At this point, it definitely doesn’t look like it’s going to show up. Although I’d love to be wrong. If you’re looking for a larger tablet, I’d recommend the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 or the new Transformer Pad from ASUS.
Nigel asks: Do you believe that Google will consider or are able to make Android Apps run in Chrome? Its understandable there are many technical barriers, but possibly it can evolve with a handful of apps that can be easily adapted allowing time for developers to work develop to the platform.
This is a pretty interesting question. We had heard that Chrome apps were coming to Android, but I don’t recall anything about Android apps working in Chrome. However, I think that would be a great idea. Instead of Google having two platforms, they’d have one for Chromebooks, tablets and smartphones. I don’t know the technical barriers, but it’s probably a bit more difficult than any of us can imagine.
