The beauty of Android is the fact that you can customize just about every aspect of it. Don’t like the Touchwiz or LG launcher? Simple. Just install Nova, Apex, Action Launcher or any other launcher on the Play Store. Don’t like the icons? Simple. Just install one of hundreds – literally hundreds – of icon packs on the Play Store. Today, we’re taking a look at a few icon packs that are on the Play store.
Minimal Grunge Icon Pack
This icon pack has a grunge look to it, which looks pretty nice actually. It has over 250 apps with custom icons and they are adding more each week. At the time of writing this, the icon pack is 50% of, and it has tons of high-quality wallpapers to go along with these icons. You can also request new icons for future updates.
Crumbled Icon Pack
This is one of my favorite icon packs out there, it’s got a crumbled look to it, and it looks really cool. It’s a relatively older icon pack but still looks great. As usual, it’s compatible with Nova, Apex, Action, Launcher Holo, Go and now Aviate launchers. It’s also free.
Flatastico Theme
Flatastico is compatible with just about every launcher out there including Apex, Nova, ADW, Smart, Action, Holo and Aviate. It has over 800 icons that have been themed, and the developer is constantly adding more to the icon pack. It comes with a themed dock as well as 18 HD wallpapers and a new theme font.
Goolors Square
Goolors is a pretty interesting icon pack, but what I like about it is they have themed over 1500 icons. One of my pet peeves is looking in my app drawer and seeing some unthemed icons. But you likely won’t have that with Goolors.
Square Icon pack
Square Icon pack is basically a icon pack that makes all the icons square, and it looks really nice. It’s available for most launchers as well, and it’s available in a free and paid version. So you can check it out before you buy the icon pack.
Nox
Nox was an icon pack I was sporting for quite a while. I love all the icons that were themed and all the wallpapers in this icon pack. It has over 1600 icons as well as a cloud-based wallpaper-gallery.
Kinux Icons Pack
Kinux is a pretty colorful icon pack. It’s available for Apex, Nova, Action, ADW, Go, Holo and Aviate launchers. It has over 700 icons that have been themed, as well as 12 wallpapers for smartphones and 9 optimized for tablets. And it’s all free, which is great to see.
Flatee
This is the icon pack I’m sporting right now, and absolutely love. Flatee is a beautiful icon pack with over 800 icons available and more being added all the time. There’s also 9 high-definition wallpapers and a themed dock. Which is always cool.
Lumos
This one is made by the same developer that did Nox. It also has about 1600 hand-crafted icons available as well as a cloud-based wallpaper gallery and a great app to go along with it. It also has Muzei suport, which is cool. It’s a really great set of icons.
