Another day, and another leak. This time it’s coming from @Evleaks and it’s not of him reviewing the HTC One on his bed. This time Evleaks published a press shot of what appears to be a new case for the brand new HTC One which we are expecting to see unveiled on March 25th, which is just over 2 weeks from now.
As you can see from the image above, the case kind of looks like a light-bright. It also reminds us of the Samsung S View Cover which has the window to view information. Instead this one shows dots through the case of the time and weather. It’s almost like a mix of the S View Cover and Active Display from Motorola. Oh how I would love it if HTC had something like Active Display on the new HTC One, that’s by far my favorite feature on the Moto X.
As cool as that cover is, that’s only part of today’s leak. Evleaks also stated that the HTC One aka M8 will be arriving as a Google Play Edition as well, which is great news for those that want a stock Android HTC device, like the original HTC One. As far as launch of the HTC One, we’re hearing that it should be before the Galaxy S5, which is odd since the Galaxy S5 was announced a full month ahead of HTC’s new One. Now as far as the Google Play Edition goes, I hope it gets announced and released on the same days as the Sense version. But who knows, I’m definitely going to be looking forward to The All New HTC One Google Play Edition. Wow that’s a mouthful.
