Let's Get Up Close and Personal with the HTC One 2014's Cameras

We’ve already seen basically everything about the HTC One 2014. I mean we’ve seen it leak out on a full 12-minute video this past weekend. And now, our buddy @Evleaks has another shot for us. This time showing the back cameras on the all new HTC One up close and personal. When we were watching the video that was leaked out over the weekend, I noticed that the camera had some pretty good stabilization going on. The kid was waving it around and there was nothing blurry at all on the camera. So we can speculate all we want for the next three weeks, but I’m betting that the second camera helps with OIS and low-light pictures even more than the UltraPixel camera did last year. I doubt they are going the 3D route again, they didn’t do so well with the EVO 3D, and I think they learned their lesson there.

The HTC One is due to be announced on March 25th during a joint event in London and NYC. And we’ll be covering that event like we do every event. We basically already know everything about the HTC One, except for the specs, although at this point we can pretty much guess the specs. We’ve been hearing it’ll have a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800/801 processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and dual-cameras on the back. We don’t know what size cameras we’ve got on the back, but it looks like we’ve got a regular sized sensor, with a bigger UltraPixel camera below it.

Last year, the HTC One had one of the best builds around. Not to mention the front-facing speakers. That was probably my favorite feature of the HTC One family (One, Mini and Max). And I’m glad to see they kept that around for the HTC One 2014. How many of you are excited for the new HTC One in a little less than 3 weeks?
