More Images of the HTC One Leak Out; Shows Benchmark Surpassing the Galaxy Note 3

By now, we know far more about the all new One than HTC really wanted us to, but we suppose that’s what happens with high-profile launches in the age of the hack. If you know what you’re doing, you can get inside of pretty important servers throughout the world. What’s been worrying about the new HTC One however is that it’s leaked out in the flesh a number of times already, with a pretty high-profile leak happening this past weekend. We’re not sure why these leaks keep happening, but we can’t imagine that HTC is too happy about them. Nevertheless though, it gives us a sneak peek of what’s to come, and that can be pretty exciting.

In the latest batch of leaked devices to hit the internets (which we can take a look at below), we can see the new One being benchmarks and while our Chinese isn’t that great, we can clearly see that this device is quicker than the Galaxy Note 3 by a little bit, and considerably more powerful than the original HTC One. Some of you will be surprised to see the device hit the top, beating out the Galaxy Note 3, however if the new HTC One is to feature a Snapdragon 801, then the higher clock speed of 2.5 Ghz versus 2.3 Ghz will likely have a sizable impact on benchmarks. How much that translates into real world use however, remains to be seen.

With the launch of the all new HTC One just 20 days away from today, we don’t have too much longer to wait and see all of the goodies HTC has to offer. It’s a shame that we already know most of what’s going to be included, but Samsung hardly surprised us with the Galaxy S5 and in the age of two-year contracts, the new One and Galaxy S5 will still make a considerable upgrade from whatever device most people are using. We know we’re excited for the launch of the new HTC One, but what about you? Let us know in the comments below.
