The All New HTC One (M8) Would Get Launched Before the Samsung Galaxy S5 in April?

HTC has been keeping busy trying to get their next and upcoming flagship ready and primed for a worldwide launch. The Taiwanese manufacturer has sent out invites to a March 25th event, which is when they will out the much rumored (and expected) iteration to the iconic HTC One. The new device, termed as the “All New HTC One” is code-named M8 and shares the same design aesthetics as its last years’ sibling. However the details so far leaking out on the device confirm that the All New HTC One will sport dual camera sensors – which is the subject of much speculation but nothing official yet – will be clad in a metal body and will offer enhanced audio capabilities. We can also expect HTC to bump up their Sense UI to version 6.0 from the current version 5.5 on the HTC One (M7). Visit here to check out a 12 minute video detailing the features of the All New HTC One.

Though the launch date of the device is confirmed, we have not received any information as to when the M8 is going to hit stores – no information until now that is. If the latest information dropped by HTCFamily – a Russian based site – is anything to go by, HTC would release the device sometime during April’s first week. HTC Family states that the all new HTC One will be available in stores “two weeks after March 25”, which would be around April 8th. It seems HTC does want to capture some market before Samsung’s flagship – the Samsung Galaxy S5 hits shelves during mid-April. Last year also we saw that though the HTC One (M7) was a great device in terms of build quality, features etc., it still lost out to the Galaxy S4 in terms of sales. HTCFamily states that the All New HTC One will be released in 110 countries worldwide.

HTCFamily has a good enough reputation; they were one of the first sites which revealed the all new HTC One is accurate photos. However, we would still advise you to take this news with a pinch of salt, after all we’ll be getting confirmations during the HTC event on March 25th.
