New Leak Images Show The Look Of Two New Transformer Tablets From ASUS

ASUS apparently has two new Transformer tablets on the way. As shown in this new image leak that surfaced over at notebook italia, The Transformer TF103 and Transformer TF303 will soon be headed towards market for consumer availability. Both tablets should have a decent set of specs and hardware, which isn’t too surprising as the Asus Transformer series of tablets has generally been pretty good over the years. Rumors are stating that we will see Android 4.4 Kit Kat running on the ASUS Transformer TF303, and powering the tablet will be a currently unknown Intel processor. The TF303 seems to be the more high-end, powerful tablet of the two devices, as the TF103 will reportedly be sporting some slightly less powerful hardware and specs.

So far there isn’t any word on what either device will be packing for storage. What’s likely here though is that we will probably see a 16GB and a 32GB model for either both, or 16GB possibly for the TF103 and 32GB for TF303. These are just speculations but both scenarios make sense. There is also no word on what type of cameras can be expected to come with both devices, or the amount of RAM that will be usable. In these cases, we could see 2GB of RAM for each, but 3GB would be the better option if ASUS can make it happen. As far as display size and type goes, it wouldn’t be a surprise or much of a stretch to see an IPS display on these tablets as ASUS has used them in the past with other Transformer pads.

We can gather a few details about the tablets physical features by looking at the images. For instance, we can see that the speakers have been moved to the front, and on either side of the screen just outside the bezel it looks like. We can also see the return of the full size USB port on the keyboard dock, and a micro HDMI port could be what sits just above the volume rocker on the tablet itself. Reports from the leak source are suggesting that both tabs can be easily removed from the dock with a convenient one handed motion, which wasn’t possible with older versions of the Transformers. The leak also reports that the keyboard layout has been improved upon from past Transformer pads as well.
