Republic Wireless Is Getting Moto Maker April 1st And Is Giving Away 2,000 Wood Back Promo Codes

The Moto X may not be this years hottest new device, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t rejoice over new additions to the moto maker team. Of course we expect that Republic Wireless subscribers may be more excited about this than we are. Starting on April 1st, Republic Wireless will have moto maker options for those of you that subscribe to the service and own a moto x or were thinking about purchasing one. This isn’t necessarily the biggest news revolving around Motorola lately, but it is great news for those republic wireless customers who have perhaps been wanting to customize their very own moto device through the moto maker. The Republic Wireless access to moto maker is scheduled to go live at 12 pm EST on the first, which will put things at 9 am PST for those of you who use the service on the west coast.

Even more great news for those of you that are planning on taking advantage of this opportunity when the first comes around. Just one hour earlier from when the moto maker access is available, (that’s 11 am  EST and 8 am PST)if you visit the promotional website that Republic Wireless has set up and you are one of the first 2,000 people to do so, Republic Wireless will give you a promo code to use for an upgrade to a free wood back for the moto x. If that doesn’t sound appealing to you’d be happy to know that the promo code will end up saving you $25, which is the normal cost of the wood backs. All four wood back options will be available to use with the promo code, so you ‘ll be able to upgrade to a wood back in either bamboo, teak, ebony, or wood finishes.

If you’re looking to switch to Republic Wireless and pick yourself a moto x, they have plans starting as low as $5 a month, and the moto x starts at $349.99 for the 16GB model. The 32GB is just $50 more. Those aren’t bad prices considering what the cost of the moto x was at launch. We know customers have been asking about this for a while, so this must be a dream come true to those on the service.
