Rumor: Galaxy S 5 Mini Details Leaked In Import Listing

The Galaxy S 5 may be the new hot device for many Samsung goers these days, and they’ll get their crack at obtaining the new flagship from the giant Korean manufacturer come next month on April 11th when the phone goes on sale. For many though, the Samsung Galaxy S 5 will either be a little out of their price range or will just be more then they want in a smartphone size wise. That’s where the Galaxy S 5 mini can come in. It’ll have a smaller display with most likely, some slightly toned down features. So where am i going with all this? It seems that we may have some information on a device that could be the Galaxy S 5 mini.

A listing that has popped up on an Indian website called Zauba.com has posted a listing for a device titled the SM-G870. Zauba was responsible for leaking some information on the Galaxy S 5 before we learned of everything there was to know from Samsung themselves at MWC last week, and it would seem that they didn’t want to stop there. There is no concrete evidence that this device labeled as the SM-G870 is actually the  S 5 mini, but as pointed out by Sammobile, the price comparison between the SM-G870 and the S5 bares a striking resemblance to that of the Galaxy S 4 and the Galaxy S 4 mini when they were getting released last year. Going solely off of that, it’s not impossible that this could be the Galaxy S 5 mini.

Another website called galaxyclub.nl points out that the letter in the image corresponds with the carrier variant of the smartphone model, and that the A refers to this device being the model for At&t. There are no specs, features, or hardware information listed with this posting, just a device model number and some information on price per unit. We’ll likely be hearing more about this in the future as rumors are that the Galaxy S 5 mini is scheduled for a summer time announcement around the month of June. Until then, this information is just a rumor and only a possibility of being the S 5 mini.
