When we think of ZTE, we often don’t think of the US market, which is certainly a shame but, we know that the company can produce some quality experiences. Producing smartphones in Asia means that you’re more likely going to focus on the mid-range of the market, as there’s so much competition there’s almost always someone offering a better deal than you. ZTE – as well as close rival Huawei – produce a dizzying range of products, and they cater to a great many different price points. Their Nubia line however, is their premium line of devices and often features their best design and the best processors that they can get their hands on.
Their upcoming Nubia X6 has been teased a number of times already, but these latest teasers show some pretty high-end features will be making the cut into the X6. As you can see in the image above, it would appear that the Nubia X6 is going to be shipping with stereo speakers. Whether or not this means something a kin to that of HTC’s BoomSound remains to be seen, but we would expect something similar to how Sony have implemented stereo in their new Xperia Z2. Moving on, and another tease makes it quite clear that the Nubia X6 is going to feature Optical Image Stabilisation in its camera module, which makes it much easier to get that shot and keeps everything steady and in focus.
Other areas in which the Nubia X6 could impress is with its alleged 1.3mm bezel, Snapdragon 801 CPU and more. Of course, all of these remain unanswered until the device actually gets announced, which should hopefully happen in the next month or so. It’s unfortunate, but we doubt that the Nubia X6 will ever make its way Stateside, which is a real shame as the Nubia line could definitely compete against the Samsungs and HTCs of today.
