LG L70 and L90 Head to MetroPCS and T-Mobile Respectively

LG seems to be pushing a lot of low and mid-range devices out to T-Mobile lately. T-Mobile has announced quite a few of LG’s lower-end devices, to help fill out their low-end and mid-range portfolio of smartphones on their Simple Choice plans. Now they are adding the LG L90 to that list. While MetroPCS is adding the LG L70 to their list. The LG L70 is available at MetroPCS right now and the LG L90 is heading to T-Mobile on April 30th. T-Mobile is pricing the LG L90 at free with $9.95/month. While MetroPCS is charging you $49.95 for the LG L70. Now remember that is the full price of the LG L70, since MetroPCS doesn’t do contracts, they are essentially a prepaid carrier.

The LG L90 sports a 4.7-inch qHD display, quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP camera and Android 4.4.2 Kitkat along with LG’s skin and Knock Code. Which was introduced with the LG G Pro 2 back in February. While the LG L70 has a 4.5-inch 800×400 display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM.

So obviously these aren’t going to blow your socks off. But they are perfect smartphones for those that are just getting into the smartphone game, or those that are looking for something that just does the essentials like calling, texting, and even emailing. And for the price of these two devices, it does just that. We can’t really compare them to the HTC One (M8) or even the Samsung Galaxy S5, because they are very different devices, and meant for different people.

For those of you on MetroPCS the LG L70 is now available for just $49.95, and those on T-Mobile looking to grab the LG L90, it’ll be available on April 30th. We don’t yet have a full price for the LG L90 on T-Mobile, but it should be around $240, since that’s what you’d be paying if you get it on EIP. Are any of you interested in either of these devices?
