Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Featuring a 3-Sided Youm Flexible Display?

Let the hype beasting begin. We barely have the Samsung Galaxy S5 out the door, and we’re already seeing leaks and rumors for the Galaxy Note 4, which are aren’t expecting to see until the fall. Typically, Samsung launches the Galaxy Note devices in September at IFA in Berlin, with them being available in late-September or Early October. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be a beast of a device, similar to the devices before it. We’re expecting 4GB of RAM and likely a Snapdragon 805 processor for the LTE markets. Now the latest rumor is that the Galaxy Note 4 is going to sport a flexible Youm display. We last saw these flexible displays at CES in 2013. We were told by Samsung back then that we’d see devices with these displays later that year. And well they did release the Galaxy Round, but it wasn’t 2-sided or 3-sided displays like we’re hearing about for the Galaxy Note 4.

Many of you may be wondering what the 3-sided display would do, or if it would be a gimmick. Well to be honest someone will always think it’s a gimmick, that’s just how it goes. But from the prototypes that we’ve seen, it looks like the sides can show you notifications like messages and missed calls and other goodies. It’s actually really cool, and I’d love to see how well it works, especially nearly two years after they first demoed it.

According to G for Games, we’re looking at the 3-sided Youm flexible display coming to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 this fall. Who’s ready for some serious hype beasting over the next few months? The Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most anticipated devices of the year, so there’ll be plenty of hype beasting going on, so get ready! Who’s looking to pick up the Galaxy Note 4 this fall?
