How it Works: Obviously, you’ll need to download InstaDownloader from the Play Store before you can start using it. Once you have the app downloaded onto your device, you can start downloading things from Instagram. All you need to do, is to copy the share URL from a post within the Instagram app and then input this into InstaDownloader
All you need to do then is select whether to save the image or the video. You can download an image or the full video for videos on Instagram.
Files you have downloaded can be viewed within the app with the auto-looping video player or viewed in a file browser to be opened in a third-party application.
You can also use the app to bookmark your favorite posts and shares on Instagram.
Opinion: Being able to download things for your personal use later on down the line is a nice thing, but the “repost image” button in the app doesn’t sit well with me. Passing off someone else’s work as your own isn’t a good thing to do and certainly won’t help your Instagram profile, either. Regardless, InstaDownloader is a good app that does exactly what it says without any hassle or anything like that. There’s even a way to test things before you start on a proper Instagram post.

I’m not comfortable with the repost button, but being able to share with friends offline or use an image as a wallpaper is a nice touch. Users of this app should just remember to give credit where credit is due. The app itself works well and the whole process is nice and simple, it’s even simply explained in the app. A quick and simple app to do something a lot of people are asking for, InstaDownloader works well.
