Amazon Offering 30-day Free Trials of the Fire TV

Amazon is doing something interesting with the Fire TV. They also did this with the Kindle Fire HDX earlier this year. Basically what they are doing is allowing customers to use the Fire TV free-of-charge for 30 days. Basically as a free trial. You can get the Fire TV for free for 30 days, but as soon as those 30 days are up, you’re either paying for the device or returning it. Since it’s only $99, and does a whole lot more than the Roku and Apple TV, I’m pretty sure most of you are going to love it. Especially since you can sideload apps onto the Fire TV. Not to mention the gaming aspect. Which sure it’s not quite up to par with the Playstation 4, or Xbox One, but it’s also a fraction of the price.

I reviewed the Fire TV recently and loved it. In fact, I bought my own to use alongside the Chromecast. I love both the Fire TV and the Chromecast, and while it may seem redundant to some, having both is a really great setup actually. Use the Fire TV for Amazon Prime Instant Video, and gaming. While you use Chromecast for just about everything else. Amazon has added a lot of good content to their Instant video library. If you haven’t checked it out lately, it’s a good idea to check them out.

It’s great to see Amazon doing free-trials of the Fire TV, while it may seem desperate it’s still a great idea. There are many others out there that are not sure if they want to check out the Fire TV or not, and this is a good way to make up their mind. For those interested, you can order the Fire TV down below. How many of you already have a Fire TV? Let us know what you think about them in the comments below.
