Before we begin
You’ll need to download the Philztouch recovery, the universal S5 toolkit, and busybox.
Instructions
- Power off your device and boot it into download mode
- Flash Philztouch Recovery through ODIN.
- Now make a nandroid backup of your device just in case something goes wrong
- Flash the universal S5 toolkit which is inside the Philztouch Recovery that you downloaded.
- Once you’ve rebooted, be sure to install Busybox from the Play Store.
- And voila! You’re rooted!
