Both monitors run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean,(as we all know since 4.2 is Jelly Bean and not Ice Cream Sandwich, someone should tell the people at AOC) and they come in a 22-inch and 24-inch LCD touchscreen setup. So you have double the option depending on how big you like your monitors. While this isn’t really a PC, it looks and acts like one but consider it a gigantic tablet that you can use for anything Android related. Think about playing Angry Birds Star Wars 2 on this thing. Quick, if you hurry and track one of these things down right now you can get to playing before “Revenge of The 5th” is over, which is the darker side of the Star Wars themed holidays.
According to AOC’s website, this giant Android monitor comes with a myriad of options. It’s main function is acting as an Android desktop, but it can also act as a secondary display with the capability to plug it into a PC. So if you needed a second monitor for your real desktop PC this can serve that purpose. You can also plug a mouse and keyboard directly into the monitor in case you have the need. The listing says it’s a dual touch touchscreen, so we’ll take that to mean that it has multi-touch support. It also sports a 1MP webcam with 720p HD video resolution, a slew of connectivity ports ranging from VGA, HDMI, USB 2.0, Type A, and an SDHC Card reader slot.
The device is powered by an Nvidia T33 quad-core processor, and has 8GB of internal storage just in case you don’t have any flash drives handy. Stereo speakers will ensure that you get crisp(we hope)sound while you do whatever it is you would need an Android desktop for, and of course it has built in WiFi so you can stay connected. if you’re looking to pick one of these up, you’ll need to cough up $300 for the 22-inch model or $400 for the 24-inch model. We suppose it’s not bad for something that can run Android Jelly Bean and act as a secondary display for a regular PC.
