LG’s upcoming G3 is shaping up to be a pretty impressive device and while we’ve heard and seen a whole lot about the device so far, we’ve yet to see anything from LG officially. Until now that is, as LG have recently release their first teaser for the G3 and while it comes in at a scant 35 seconds, it tells us enough of what to expect when the phone launches officially at the end of the month.
In the teaser video, numerous aspects of the G3 fly by the camera and leave us guessing as to what they are. Thankfully for us, LG isn’t very subtle with this approach, and a moving camera model, close up shots of pretty lenses and more pretty much confirm that LG is bring OIS+ and possibly some extra stabilization magic when it comes to photography. We get to see a close up of the button arrangement on the rear of the device as well as a quick glimpse at what looks to be a curved brushed aluminum back not unlike that found on the HTC One (M8).
With rumors of the Snapdragon 805 hitting the device as well as a QHD display at 2560 x 1440 looking more and more likely, it seems like LG will have something for Samsung and co to worry about come May 27th. The metal build will be a direct nod to Samsung, who continues to use plastic and less premium materials in their devices. Still, a metal phone doesn’t always make a better, or harder wearing phone, so we’ll have to wait and see how big a deal the new approach to build with the LG G3 is. We’ve roughly two weeks until LG officially unveil the G3 to the world on May 27th, how many of you are excited? Take a look at the short teaser below and let us know if you’re considering LG’s upcoming flagship.
