Motorola has an event set for next week, in which we are expecting to see them announce the Moto E and perhaps some other forms of the Moto G. The event is on May 13th, so make sure you tune into Android Headlines to get all the information about the announcements. Today, Motorola leaked out the Moto E on their Mexico Facebook page – which obviously has since then been removed. But you can see it above. Which as you can see it does look a lot like the Moto G – since it is side by side the Moto G – but it does look a bit cheaper. While it is supposedly going to be an even cheaper device, with pretty good specs, especially considering the price, it looks like it may have front-facing speakers. But I wouldn’t expect those to be all that good especially compared to the HTC One (M8).
We’re expecting the Moto E to be announced next week, and we should have a lot more information for you then. But as for right now, it’s going to be an even cheaper version of the Moto G and we’re expecting Motorola to push it into emerging markets and such once it’s announced. Which Motorola is already pretty big in Latin America, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it launched there first. It appears that we are looking at the same size display as the Moto G, but the side bezels look a bit bigger, so perhaps a 4.3-inch display here. It might be 720p but it might be qHD, depends on the price point they are trying to hit with the Moto G.
Are any of you excited to see what Motorola has up its sleeves next week during their event? Could we be seeing a Moto E on the way? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
