Moto G with 4G LTE Now Up for Pre-Order on Amazon

Yesterday morning, Motorola announced the Moto E along with a new version of the Moto G. They announced that the Moto G will now be available with 4G LTE, for a bit higher price. It’s on sale for $219, which is still a great price for the specs that the Moto G possesses. Now the Moto G with 4G LTE is available for pre-order on Amazon. However the 4G LTE models, so far, are only available in 8GB. But there is the choice of white or black, for those interested. It’s available now for pre-order and should be heading to your door on June 3rd.

With the Moto G 4G LTE, you still have that 4.5-inch 720p LCD display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and a microSD card slot now, along with a 2070mAh battery. Which, when I was reviewing the Moto G, the battery life was pretty amazing. Especially for a sub-$200 smartphone. It’s also running near stock Android, and the latest version of Android at that, Android 4.4.2. It’s definitely a great phone for the price. The Moto G also has a water resistant coating on the inside and outside, so if you’re stuck in the rain, you don’t need to worry about your Moto G getting damaged.

We got links to both the black and white Moto G 4G LTE models down below for those that are interested. It’s a great device, and unfortunately this model will only work on AT&T and T-Mobile, since it’s an unlocked phone. Additionally it will support 2G, 3G and HSPA+. But it does not support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42mbps network, you’re stuck with just 21mbps. Which still isn’t a bad network, definitely better than 2G or 3G, right? How many of you are picking up the 4G LTE model of the Moto G? Let us know in the comments below.
