Expect a lot more leaks and rumors about the LG G3 in the next few weeks. As we all know that they are announcing the device later this month. On the 27th to be exact. We’ve already seen some shots of the LG G3, and now we’re hearing some new rumors. This time its coming out of Android Central, now the picture above is actually old. But it’s a more clearer shot than we’ve had before. So now we can get a better look at the notes taken along side it.
So basically what we are looking at here is the name of the device, that’s the LG G3. Also the Gesture Palm Selfie. Which we aren’t sure how that’s going to work, but obviously it’ll be using the camera. Now it’s unclear if that’s the front or rear facing camera. Since the Galaxy K Zoom has a Selfie feature, but it uses that 20MP rear-facing shooter to do it. According to these notes, it appears that it’ll have a removable 3,000mAh battery inside. Which is going to be a big deal for a lot of people. There’s also mention of a 5.5-inch QHD display, along with a 13-megapixel Camera with OIS+. We have OIS+ in the LG G Pro 2, if it ever gets released outside of Korea. It also says 2 tera memory, we’re not sure what that means. But we highly doubt that there is 2 terabytes of storage on the device. Also a 1-watt speaker, which we all know that LG got serious about audio with the LG G2, and it looks like they are continuing that here. Then there’s mention of the Quick Circle gesture. Which again, we aren’t sure what exactly that is. It could be part of Knock Code, or something else entirely. Then finally there’s 2GB and 3GB for RAM and 16GB and 32GB for storage. Which makes it look like we’re going to get 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, and 3GB of RAM for 32GB of storage. Which other manufacturers have done lately.
Overall, it looks like LG has another beast on their hands. Hopefully the G3 doesn’t become as underrated as the G2 was last year. That phone still stands up to current flagships, which is amazing. Who’s excited for May 27th?
