Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime Heading to Korea in 5 Colors

It appears that the G906 is the “Galaxy S5 Prime” and according to Evleaks it’s heading to Korea and will be available in five colors. Those five colors are black, white, gold, blue and sweet pink. So far there’s no word on this device being available worldwide, this might just be another Samsung device that’s only for their homeland of Korea. Like the Galaxy J or the Galaxy Round from last year.

So far, the specs for the Galaxy S5 Prime are looking pretty decent. We’re looking at a 2560×1440 resolution display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB of storage, and a 2800mAh battery inside. The most notable improvements are the screen resolution, RAM and processor. Although we’ve seen some rumors that the design will be different as well, and that it’ll be a metal body. The “leaks” we’ve seen of the design were just a mockup, with a new color that was sent around to a lot of Android sites, so there’s really still no leak of how the Galaxy S5 Prime will look. But if it is a Korean exclusive, I think we’ll see some upset people as well as some relieved people.

Some will be relieved because the Galaxy S5 isn’t getting a huge upgrade a few months after release, but then some will be upset because they want the Galaxy S5 Prime, I know I’m one of them. I love the 2560×1440 resolution on tablets, and I’m sure it’d be great on a smartphone, even though it might be a bit of overkill. How many of you out there are jealous of Korea getting all the cool devices from LG and Samsung? I know I’m one of them. Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
