Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime Leaks Out Again, Showing off its Aluminum

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime has been leaking and rumored for quite some time now. Basically since before the Galaxy S5 was announced back in February. The Galaxy S5 Prime is basically a more high-end version of the Galaxy S5. We’re supposedly going to get that 2560×1440 resolution display, along with 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and the same 2800mAh battery. Which probably means battery life will decrease since the there’s a lot more pixels to be pushing. The Galaxy S5 Prime is supposedly going to launch in Europe and Asia. Although I’m still betting on Korea only, and that it would replace the Galaxy J from last year. Which was basically the Galaxy S4 but a more premium, high-end version of it. So far there’s nothing confirmed on the Galaxy S5 Prime though, although the model numbers are pretty much confirmed as they’ve leaked on retailers websites already.

The pictures in the gallery at the bottom of this post were sent to Phone Arena. They are supposedly of the Galaxy S5 Prime, although we do have to urge you to take these with a grain of salt as we do with most leaks and rumors. As they can be faked very easily. I don’t think we need to revisit some of those Nexus 4 leaks from 2012, now do we? The Galaxy S5 Prime looks a lot like the Galaxy S5, as far as design goes. But one thing that did stand out to me is that the speakers have moved to the bottom of the device. Which is where Samsung put them on the Galaxy Note 3, but the Galaxy S5 had the speaker on the back. So it’s nice to see that change. Also the bump for the camera seems to be gone. It was a pretty small bump anyways, but now it looks the camera has sunk into the back of the Galaxy S5 Prime.

Other than that, it looks like a great device. And I’m excited for it to be official. How about the rest of you?
