Two LG G3 Models Pass Through the FCC

It appears that two LG devices have recently passed through the FCC and it appears to be two different variants of the LG G3. We’re looking at the D850 and D851. Which are close to the model number of the LG G3 we saw leak out this morning, which was the D855.  The LG D850 can run on LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, and 17. The D851 supports LTE bands 2, 4, 7, and 17, according to its FCC Filing. The dimensions of both devices are  5.76 inches (146.3 millimeters) tall by 2.94 inches (74.6 millimeters) wide, which all but confirms that these two are the same device. Again, that’s according to the FCC Filing.

The LG G3 is rumored to be sporting a 2560×1440 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 3200mAh battery inside. There’s also talk of it supporting a microSD card, although we haven’t heard much on that. It’ll also be sporting Android 4.4.2 – KitKat with a new refined UI, which their skin could use a lot of work. Right now, we’re looking at a beast of a phone with the back being made of brushed aluminum which is making a lot of people fall in love with the device.

We’ll know all the LG G3 secrets next week, when LG takes the wraps off of the LG G3 in New York on May 27th. It’s definitely a day I’m excited for. We already have the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5, and now it’s LG’s turn, then it’ll be Motorola’s turn. It’ll be tough to choose a great flagship this year, so many great choices out there to pick up. How many of you are looking forward to the LG G3 when it gets announced next week? I know I’m one of them. Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
