Lenovo’s S860 Finally Available in India With Massive 4,000 mAh Battery

While the S860 might have been announced all the way back at Mobile World Congress, it’s only finally becoming available in India. The MT6582 at the heart of the device is known for batter efficiency, but the 4,000 mAh battery will make sure you get a full day out of this one. It’s a shame that the 5.3-inch display only has a resolution of 1280 x 720, but if it’s in the name of keeping battery life high then so be it. Available in India from RS 21,500, the S860 is a dual-SIM capable device as well.

ASUS Fonepad 7 Dual-SIM Now Available from Infibeam

 

ASUS’ all-in-one tablet/phone device is finally available in India and from a decent price at Infibeam. It’s up for sale for just RS 12,875 and as you might know, the device is similar to the first-generation Nexus 7, with a 720p display, but it’s powered by a dual-core Intel Atom CPU. Running Android 4.3 with 1GB of RAM and an earpiece to take calls without the need for a headset, the Fonepad 7 could be the tablet you’ve been looking for.

Airtel Launches 4G in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula

4G LTE is taking off in India and Bharti Airtel is launching 4G in the above regions in the country. With live demos on offer in stores, customers can upgrade to 4G SIMS, gain information on whether or not their handset is compatible and more. So far though, there aren’t many devices with LTE support these days and only the Xolo LT 900, LG G2 (D802T), iPhone 5S and 5C are supported as of right now.

LG’s G Pro 2 Now Available in India

LG’s latest and greatest large-screen device, the G Pro 2 is finally available in India after having been available in South Korea for such a long time. The 5.9-inch device features all the same software features – and more – as the G2 as well as the rear buttons and the Snapdragon 800 CPU. With 3GB of DDR3 RAM, this is a great multitasking machine and should feature some of the best battery life out there thanks to the large 3,200 mAh battery. A quality device, the G Pro 2 isn’t going to be cheap and will cost somewhere in the region of RS 50,000 depending on where you buy it from.

Meitu Phone 2 Announced; Features Octa-Core CPU

 

For the younger female generation in China there’s already a decent amount of choice out there when it comes to smartphones, but the Meitu Phone 2 might be the best one yet. With an octa-core MT6592 CPU from MediaTek, this is a cool phone running a modified version of Android 4.2 in a 4.7-inch package with a 720p display. Designed for those looking to shoot a lot of photos, the Meitu Phone 2 comes with two 13-megapixel cameras as well as the  Meitu Xiuxiu photo software. The 16GB version is to cost 2,199 Yuan while the 32GB version is to cost 2,399 Yuan.

Sony’s Xperia Z2 to Launch in India Come May 8th

According to the Economic Times, Sony might be ready to launch the Xperia Z2 in India very shortly. It’s taken a long time for Sony to get their device into the hands of buyers in Europe, so a later launch in India is to be expected. Considering that India has become a big market for Sony we should expect a pretty big launch for the device. With a 5.2-inch IPS display, Snapdragon 801 and 3GB of RAM, the Xperia Z2 is a brilliant flagship for the device and one that we’re sure won’t be cheap.
