We finally have a release date for the LG G3 for somewhere other than Korea. Since the LG G3 was announced on May 27th, the device went on sale in Korea the very next day and has been doing extremely well in their home market. LG did say that it would be landing in about 70 other countries though, this summer. Nothing specific though. Earlier this week, Carphone Warehouse put out pre-orders for their LG G3, and now Amazon UK has pre-orders open as well and also have it listed as shipping on June 28th. I’m sure many of you will join me in being jealous of those in the UK. There’s still no word on when it’ll be available in the US. However leaks pointed to Verizon launching on July 17th.
The LG G3 is an amazing device, and I’m still working on my full review of this amazing smartphone which will be out before its available in the UK so don’t worry. The LG G3 features a 2560×1440 resolution 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 3000mAh removable battery, 13MP with OIS+ camera on the back, 2MP front-facing camera and it’s running on Android 4.4. Oh and don’t forget the laser auto focus on the camera. The camera takes amazing pictures, and we’ll be comparing it to the LG G2 soon to show you just how well LG has improved year over year.
LG has done a fantastic job with the LG G3, but I’ll save the rest of that for the full review, which will be pretty lengthy. How many of you in the UK are tempted to pick up a LG G3 at this price point? Are any of you itching to get your hands on LG’s latest creation? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below.
