The LG G3 was announced last week and LG announced some changes to the keyboard on the G3. This is the smart keyboard for the LG G3 which has been ported from the system dump to work on any rooted Android device. The keyboard is now flatter, like the rest of the G3’s UI, it also has some other cool features which makes it easier to type without moving your fingers all over the place when typing and editing your message. There are also some other minor changes here in the smart keyboard.
It’s pretty simple to install the Smart Keyboard as well. You can flash it via recovery like a standard mod for your phone or tablet. Or you can just use the apk installer and install it like any other apk on your device. So you’ll need “Unknown Sources” checked, obviously. If you run into issues installing the LG G3 Smart Keyboard on your device, feel free to head over to XDA and get some help. The link will be in the source section at the bottom of the post.
It’s great to see some of the LG G3 apps and features making it’s way to other devices, now we just have to wait on the camera. That’s what I’m really interested in, is how much the camera app has changed. Since we still have about a month before the LG G3 is actually available for us to pick up in the US and other countries, we’ll have to make due with the ported APKs for different apps from the LG G3.
How many of you out there are going to flash the ported Smart Keyboard from the LG G3 on your device? If you do go ahead and flash it or install it, be sure to let us know in the comments below how it works out for you and how much you like it.
