LG F460L Rumored to Appear With Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM

LG’s G3 might be working its way to stores all over the world in the next couple of weeks, but as we all know there’s no rest for the wicked, and the wheel keeps on turning. So, it’s no surprise that LG has an even more powerful device in the works. Or at least, that’s what the word on the street is. According to rumor, a new LG model number, F460L, is to be an upcoming device powered by a Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM. You might be wondering what’s wrong with the G3, as we are, but there’s every possibility that the G3 isn’t the only high-end device that LG releases this year.

MyLGPhones is reporting that the F460L model number has been spotted on the LG U Plus website for the Korean carrier and that the device was also listed as the G3 in a Senior Research Engineer’s LinkedIn profile working for LG. That leads us to believe this is just a slightly more powerful version of the G3 destined for their home market of Korea, perhaps to tie in with the super-fast LTE-Advanced networks that are available in South Korea. The Snapdragon 805 is quite a bit more powerful than the Snapdragon 801 when it comes to graphics, as it can handle higher-resolution images faster as well as game better at high-resolutions. As for the 3GB of RAM part of this rumor, the US version comes with 3GB of RAM is to choose more storage along with it.

There’s talk that this is perhaps the LG Vu 4 or even another flagship device for release later this year, as the device has been spotted with model numbers relating to use on the SK Telecom network, as well as LG U Plus. Right now, all we have to go on is a model number an some anecdotal sightings of it. Is LG to release another flagship? Or is this just another variant of the G3? Let us know what you think down below.
