The Moto 360 Makes an Appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show

Last night, Jimmy Fallon had The Verge’s Editor In Chief Josh Topolsky on the show, who is basically his tech guru and always brings some new gadgets and toys to show off. But there was something on his wrist that he may have not meant to show off. That was the Moto 360. Taking a look at the picture above, you can see the Moto 360 on his wrist, and yes it does look a bit like the Nest.

What’s interesting here is that The Verge is teasing it on their Facebook page as well. So this might all be planned hype from Motorola. Not that they really need the hype for the Moto 360, as everyone’s attention is on the Moto 360 since the second it was announced with the Android Wear SDK a little while back. The Moto 360 has everyone’s attention because it is a round smartwatch while every other smartwatch has been a square, including the LG G Watch which is said to be a reference device for Android Wear. The Moto 360 is supposedly coming out in Q3 so we should see it very soon. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it shown off at Google I/O in a few weeks.

In the past, The Verge has gotten their hands on some exclusive devices from Google. Anyone remember the Nexus 4?  So this is probably just another case of The Verge getting their hands on devices early. Which means we probably will see the Moto 360 announced really soon. At least we hope so, as we really want to check it out and see what all the hype is really about. Q3 starts on July 1st as well.

How many of you are still interested in the Moto 360? Or are you looking into picking up another smartwatch, maybe the Gear Fit, Gear 2 Neo, Gear 2 or LG G Watch? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
