Earlier today, we noticed that the screenshot Punit Soni posted on Google+ was actually from a device with a 1080p display. Meaning that it was not from a device that Motorola currently has on the market. Which began the speculation. Thanks to Hello Moto HK, they did some digging around in the Bug2go software and found a bunch of other codenames. There’s a mention of the XPlus1 along with VoLTE, which we’re assuming might include VoLTE for all the carriers and variants, seeing as AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon have all launched or will be launching VoLTE this year. Which means just about every phone released from here on out will most likely have VoLTE support.
With the Moto X+1, or the codename XPlus1, it looks like we’ve got a AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and a Latin America model out there. So far nothing about Europe or the rest of the world. Which is going to suck. There’s also the Xwatch and the XClock. Now we’re assuming these belong to the Moto 360, but we can’t be for sure. There are a few variants as well. The xWatch_DF, xClock_DF, xClock_EUT, and xClock_FF.
There was also the Titan, Quantum and ULine codenames in this software. For the Titan, it looks like that is heading to Europe, Asia, Latin America and the US. The Quantum appears to be heading to the US, and we’re thinking it’s the XPlay. Now the ULine is the interesting one, as some of the variants mention VoLTE and then VoLTE with Verizon. So we’re guessing that one might be VoLTE for GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, while the VoLTE_Verizon one is for Verizon obviously.
