Samsung Galaxy Tab S Available for Pre-Order in the UK

On Thursday, Samsung announced the new Galaxy Tab S. Which isn’t a huge change over their Galaxy Tab PRO lineup from earlier in the year, aside from the AMOLED display. Most of the other specs are identical. We’ve got a 8.4-inch and a 10.5-inch model. Both of which have 2560×1600 resolution AMOLED displays, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot, Exynos 5420 in the WiFi version and a Snapdragon 800 in the LTE version, along with a 4900mAh and 7900mAh battery respectively. The Galaxy Tab S has already gone up for pre-order here in the US with it being available later this month. But now our friends across the pond in the UK can pre-order theirs.

Curry’s PC World has opened up pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S today. Pricing the 8.4-inch Galaxy Tab S at £330, and the 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S at £420. These tablets are slated to arrive at your house on July 4th, with it being available in store on July 5th. So not a bad price nor a bad timing for Samsung over in the UK. Nice to see these tablets getting released so quickly, as we normally have to wait a while even for pre-orders to start up.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S has an amazing display, seeing as it is a Super AMOLED panel. But it also has some cool new features like PaperGarden, which is basically Samsung’s version of Google Play Newsstand. There’s also a new version of SideSync, and a few other features. Samsung has really packed the Galaxy Tab S with a ton of features this go ’round. But we can’t really say we are surprised, now can we? How many of you over in the UK are looking to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Tab S? Let us know in the comments below.
