The Tab Into Color event from Samsung is over but the adventure is just beginning. Especially for Samsung and Marvel fans. On stage today at the event Samsung announced that it would be joining forces with Marvel Comics to offer up exclusive content to users. More than that, the partnership spans across multiple mediums. Through Marvel films we’ll probably see a lot more of Samsung products, and on the flipside those who pick up future Samsung devices will get access to exclusive Marvel content and experiences and it all starts with the Tab S line of devices, where you’ll find access to Marvel’s digital world of wonder and action.
Owners of the Galaxy Tab S will get three months of free access to Marvel Unlimited and the expansive library of digital comics within, which is just the tip of the iceberg. We already mentioned the Samsung product film integration into upcoming Marvel movies,(we’ll likely see the first signs of product integration from this partnership in the upcoming Avengers Age Of Ultron movie)but beyond that there will also be event activation’s and specially designed custom Marvel-branded Samsung products. Samsung’s executive VP of global marketing Younghee Lee mentions that this partnership with Marvel allows them to bring the mobile tech behind their displays to life using Marvels unparalleled visual storytelling. What better way to put focus on their high quality and vivid color reproduction than through the artful masterpieces of Marvel comics.
In addition to the three months free of Marvel Unlimited, owners of the Galaxy Tab S devices will also get access to early(sneak-peak)previews of unreleased Marvel movies that will be debuting next year. Samsung really believes their devices are “super”, and they couldn’t have chosen a better partnership to convey that same level of passion for their products. If consumers are looking for devices and content that are worthy of a super hero they may need to look no further than the Galaxy Tab S in 8.4 and 10 inch sizes. If you missed the livestream of the event this entire partnership kicked off with an appearance from Jarvis, the smart computer system that basically does everything for Tony Stark in the Iron Man films. It was pretty cool to see.
