Sponsored Game Review: Three Monsters

Description: Three Monsters is a match three type of puzzle game that brings with it lots of charm and other gameplay elements all rolled into one new game. It’s made a Korean game studio and with that comes a unique art style. When playing Three Monsters you’re given a 6×6 grid that’s filled with different colored monsters, you need to move the grid left, right, up and down to match three or more of these monsters together. There are cool powerups that will help you reach even higher scores as well as get rid of those pesky stone monsters. The aim of the game is to keep on playing till you beat your own high-score.

How it Works: Once you’ve downloaded Three Monsters, you’re ready to play.

Getting to grips with how to play the game is easy, and everything is explained to you as you get into the game.

Things start off fairly easily as you get used to moving the grid to bring new monsters in and move those already here.

As you progress into your match, more stone monsters will creep in and you’ll have a harder time finding matches and ways to clear space.

Much like Tetris, when the board is full, it’s game over. You’re given a high-score though, and you can play over and over to beat this.

To get higher scores in the future, why not try out some of the powerups? You can equip three of them at any time.

Opinion: Puzzles games, for me, are some of the best games to play while on the go. They don’t ask too much of the player and they’re easy to play while on the way to work or whatever. Three Monsters is cute, accessible and addictive. You can keep on playing without the need to move from mission to mission and the idea of beating your own high-score makes it so appealing to players of all ages. Having to move a grid around gives the game its own sort of play style, and overall it’s got some good core mechanics that will appeal to a lot of people.
