We’ve got our hands on the official LG Quick Circle case here. This actually a really nice case. One thing that I liked about it over the likes of Samsung’s S View Cover, is the fact that the window doesn’t have a piece of plastic over it. Why is that a big deal? Well when you are using the case, and you want to take a picture you fold over the front of the case to the back. But that plastic gets dirty quickly, so all that dirt is in front of the lens, and your pictures don’t look as great, unfortunately. The LG Quick Circle case doesn’t have anything in the window. You touching just the screen, which is a nice feel.
Obviously putting it on is pretty easy, just slide it in. And by default the Quick circle functionality should be turned on. If you’ve turned it off, it’s easy to turn it back on. Just head into Settings > General and flip the toggle to on for Quick Circle Case. Through the window you are able to view the time, and the weather. You can also change the clock face, which we did a video on how to do that earlier. Additionally, you can take pictures through the Quick Circle case, as well as able to control your music and check LG Health. It’s got plenty of functionality, and more on the way.
While the case is made of plastic, it doesn’t feel or look terrible. Although – you’ll probably notice this in the pictures below – it does attract dirt like a magnet. Which I’m not a fan of. But that’s really the only bad thing I can find about this case so far. As far as how the Quick circle functionality impacts battery, it doesn’t appear too. The official LG Quick Circle case is selling on Amazon for $39.99 in black, white and gold. While Mobile Fun is selling them for $42.49. Mobile Fun also has plenty of other LG G3 cases if you’re interested in checking out what they have available.
