Those of you that love comics, probably already subscribe to Marvel Unlimited. But those that don’t may want to check this out. To celebrate Comic-Con, Marvel is offering access to 13,000 comics for just $0.99 through their Marvel Unlimited service. Which is a pretty good deal, especially if you like Comics like Spider Man, Avengers, Captain America, etc. Normally the cost for Marvel Unlimited is $9.99/month, so this $0.99 deal is a pretty good deal, almost a steal. There are a couple of catches with Marvel Unlimited though. One being that you can only download 12 comics at a time on one device. Another is that you don’t get comics as soon as they come out. You typically get comics on Marvel Unlimited about 6 weeks after they’ve been published. Of course, there is one more catch, Marvel unlimited is for US only. It’s a shame the amount of times we actually have to write that in posts these days.
“INSTANT ACCESS TO OVER 13,000 COMICS. Explore Marvel Unlimited online or on-the-go with our mobile app for iPhone®, iPad® and select Androidâ„¢devices. Save up to 12 comics to your mobile device to read even when you’re offline. More classic and newer issues added every week – as soon as 6 months after they hit shelves!”
It’s great to see Marvel doing this promotion for Comic-Con, but it’d also be nice if they did this for good. Even better if they changed the way they published new comics into the app. As I’m sure those that pay $9.99/month would love to get their comics sooner rather than later. Seems like everything is $9.99/month these days. Like Google Play Music All Access, Netflix, Hulu Plus, and more. How many of you are planning to take advantage of this offer with Marvel Unlimited?
