Last month, Samsung announced their new line of tablets, the Galaxy Tab S. Many of us didn’t think it’d be a big deal, but it really is. They are a pretty big deal because they are Super AMOLED displays instead of the usual LCD displays on these bad boys. This is the first tablet with an AMOLED display since the original Galaxy Tab 7 back in the day. Now that they are out and being sold, it’s time for Samsung to market them like crazy, and today they released two new ads for the Galaxy Tab S. One commercial talks about the Super AMOLED contrast ratio and how great the display really is. Which its a 2560×1600 resolution Super AMOLED display, so I’d expect it to be a pretty amazing display, myself. Even though I’m not a huge fan of Super AMOLED displays, they are still pretty good displays, and Samsung does wonders with them.
The second commercial is showcasing multi-tasking on the Galaxy Tab S. Which is basically the same as multi-tasking on their other tablets. You’ve got the multi-window features as well as the dedicated recents key now. So it’s pretty easy to multi task and get plenty of stuff done in a reasonable amount of time. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 are available now and feature 2560×1600 resolution Super AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 801 chipsets for the LTE version and Exynos 5 Octa for the WiFi version, 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 8MP and 2MP cameras on the back and front respectively and 9000mAh and 6000mAh batteries inside. They are pretty high-end tablets and will cost you $400 and $500 respectively. How many of you already own a Galaxy Tab S from Samsung? How many of you are looking to pick one up?
