Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Will Receive Copper Gold and Electric Blue Variants

It is now summer – the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been launched, praised, criticized, ridiculed and practically forgotten about – time to move on to the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 launch this September 25 at IFA Berlin.  Ever since Samsung introduced the original Galaxy Note in 2011, the Galaxy S series has slowly been pushed off to the side like yesterday’s new toy.  The Galaxy Note series usually has the specifications that we were hoping to have seen on the Galaxy S device, hence many call the Galaxy Note, Samsung’s true flagship device…a crown once reserved only for the Galaxy S series.

It is true that several Galaxy S specs find their way over to the Galaxy Note series – most likely the fingerprint scanner, Heart Rate Monitor, and yes, probably even the ‘pebbled’ back…and while ridiculed by many, it has proven to be a nice ‘grippy’ surface for holding your device.  If @evleaks is to be believed, coming over from the Galaxy S5 will also be the Electric Blue and Copper Gold colors, along with the Shimmery White and Charcoal Black.  This should really come as no surprise as the colors generally sell pretty well…but oh, that Copper Gold is just too much like a taxi cab yellow car – I hate it, but I still cannot stop staring at it.

As far as the rest of the Galaxy Note 4 goes, there is still nothing but rumors.  We expect the display to stay at the current 5.7-inches like that of the Galaxy Note 3.  We are hoping for even thinner bezels, but if Samsung has to squeeze in their fingerprint scanner, the lower bezel can only be so small.  While the display may stay the same size, we certainly expect it to jump from Full HD to QHD with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and all the specs and goodies from the new Galaxy Tab S tablet displays.  As far as its processor, we expect either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 for the LTE version and the possibly the first 64-bit Exynos chip with Cortex-A57 cores on the global version.  We expect no less than 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, complete with microSD slot.  The camera is also a mystery at this point – it could be a 12MP or 16MP with or without an Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) and rumor has a 3.68MP front-facing camera on board.

Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know what you are expecting in the Galaxy Note 4 and if you are interested the the Blue or Gold model…as always, we would love to hear from you.

P.S. YES, we know that is a picture of a Galaxy S5 in Copper Gold…NOT the Galaxy Gear 4!
