XiaoMi Mi4 Front Panel in White Leaks Out With Thin Bezels

Xiaomi may not be a company that most people know too much about, however, that will all change in 2015…when Hugo Barra claims their smartphones and tablets will finally be entering the U.S.  For now, this China company is right where they belong – in the fastest growing mobile market in the world – not only do they have an extremely fast growing economy, but their population, including the very old, have embraced mobile technology.  Once firmly established on their own soil – in the first six months of 2014, they have sold more smartphones, than all of 2013 – they will begin branching out to other markets…the U.S. included.

What we have here is leaked picture of their upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi Mi4, due to be released in the near future.  The shot is simply of the front shell of the device, taken inside the manufacturing plant. Because the shell is in white, we can see how narrow the bezels are on the right and left sides.  There should be more leaks coming out until the Mi4 actually launches.  Apparently, Xiaomi is also launching another smartphone, which is the Mi3S, an upgrade to their last Mi3 flagship – in addition to their new flagship, the Mi4.  The Mi3S will probably retain the same body style but have some upgraded components, while the Mi4 will be a totally new design.

From the picture, we can see that the Mi logo on the upper left hand side…moving to the right we can see the light sensor, front earpiece speaker and the front-facing camera.  We can also see that the Mi4 will have its three capacitive ‘buttons’ on the phone, not the on-screen buttons.  The sources tipster has also told them that the Mi4 will have a 13MP main camera with a Sony sensor, similar to the Vivo xShot.  An employee supposedly shot the picture below with the Mi4’s camera.

Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are looking forward to getting the Xiaomi smartphones into your country – with their quality and pricing, we should get a good bang for our dollar…as always, we would love to hear from you.
