Amazon has made it extremely easy for those of us who are would be buyers of the plethora of products that they sell, to purchase them whether we’re at home or out on the go thanks to their ever so useful Android application. Amazon doesn’t just cater to buyers though, and they’re not the only ones selling goods on the website either. There are tons and tons of online merchants who sell stuff through Amazon and they want to cater to those people too. Today Amazon just launched the Amazon Sellers app for Android that lets merchants have that same ease of use as buyers, but instead to post goods to their online store even if they’re not at home. This new on the go app will make things a whole lot easier on merchants.
Besides just listing their different items and goods for sale on Amazon.com, the app also lets merchants manage their inventory. Merchants can easily search, sort, and filter through their inventory items and they have the ability to update prices or quantities if they need to. Searching for their own items is not where it ends though as merchants can also search other items on the store to check prices and get ideas of what else to sell through the search feature, which also lets them check out customer reviews as well as their sales rank.
There is of course also the capability to respond to customers from the app, something that is an integral part of an application like this that allows you to respond quickly to people and thus potentially raising your customer satisfaction while providing great customer service. Merchants can also estimate how much they’ll make from selling certain goods, which could help to decide whether or not it would be worth it to list those items. We’d presume that most of the features within this app are functions you could also do from the website, making it as full featured as it possibly needs to be. If you’re a seller of goods through Amazon’s giant online site and you want to be able to peddle your wares and manage things away from home, check out the free app.
