Mailbox for Android hits v1.1
Many of you may know about Dropbox’s Mailbox app, which recently came to Android. Well this week it got an update to version 1.1 with a load of fixes. Here is the full changelog:
- Now translated into 19 languages, including Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish (both European and Latin American), Swedish, Thai and English
- Swipe and hold to create an Auto-swipe pattern
- Batch swipe
- Print your emails (Android 4.4 and up)
- View spam and mark messages as spam
- Permanent delete from trash and spam
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
Box Updates and Brings Box Notes to Android
This week, Box updated their app with a few fixes, but also added in a new feature called Box Notes. Which is about what you’d expect. It’s another note-taking app, not that we needed another one. Right?
Dropbox for Android hits v2.4.3
This week, Dropbox saw an update, bringing it to version 2.4.3. So what’s new in this update? Well let’s take a look at the changelog:
- In-app previews of Word, PowerPoint and PDF files
- New search experience that tracks recent queries and shows typeahead suggestions
- View-only permissions for shared folders for Dropbox for Business users
- Cache performance enhancements
- Lots of bug fixes and improvements
HTC Sense TV Gets Updated
HTC’s Sense TV got a small update this week, adding a few new sports to the app. For those unaware, Sense TV is HTC’s app that goes with the IR Blaster on the HTC One M8 and other high-end devices they have with an IR Blaster. Unfortunately it’s not on the HTC One Remix. Here’s the changelog from Google Play:
- Sense TV Sports now support American Football (NFL, NCAA)
- Sense TV Sports now support Tri-Nation Rugby
