Would it be pointless to buy up a flagship device that might be outdone by another new flagship in less than a week? Maybe, but if you’re the type that has to have the best and most powerful, and in this case brightest with the QHD screen, then you might want to take a look at this seemingly awesome deal on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime LTE-A device. This is the more powerful Galaxy S5 that everyone was hoping for when it was unveiled earlier at the beginning of the year. Sadly it wasn’t what most of the world got, and Samsung later launched this device in South Korea only. Online retailer 28mobile has been selling these Galaxy S5 LTE-A phones for a little while now, and while initially they’re quite expensive, a few of the colors are on sale for $749 which is almost two hundred off the original cost when the phone launched.
The Galaxy S5 LTE-A comes with the QHD screen, faster LTE than the original although for here in the states, you probably won’t be able to take advantage of those speeds. It also comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, and an Adreno 420 GPU for the graphics applications and tasks. The processor wasn’t the only thing to get a bump on this device, as the RAM was also uplifted to 3GB instead of using the standard 2GB of RAM that came on the original Galaxy S5 device that we saw here in the states.
The S5 LTE-A was certainly a more desirable Galaxy S5 flagship device and although we couldn’t readily get our hands on one before, US residents can buy these now at a somewhat discounted price. The end cost is still a lot, especially when you consider what we might have access to in the next few weeks after we see what get’s shown off at IFA. If you had your heart set and your eyes fixed on the Galaxy S5 Prime LTE-A no matter what though, you can grab one in Copper, Gold, or Blue for $749, and others at a discounted price as well. You can see them all at the 28mobile website where you can make the purchase if you just have to have one.
