We’re looking at our sixth and final LG G3 case from Verus who has hooked us up with plenty of great cases of theirs, which we’ve reviewed over the past few weeks. This is their second wallet case, although this one is a layered dandy diary case, and is in brown. Although they do have other colors available like black, coffee, and wine red. It is a pleather case, so it’s not real leather unfortunately, but still looks and feels pretty darn good in my opinion.
The Dandy Diary does have a clasp on the side which keeps it shut using a magnet. Although it doesn’t have auto sleep/wake for the G3, unfortunately. Once you open the case, you’ll see that there are 3 slots inside, which allows you to put in your driver’s license, a debit/credit card or two and perhaps some cash. So you don’t even have to carry your wallet, just this case. There are cut outs on the back and front. The front has a cut out for the earpiece at the top of the case. On the back there is a cut out for the camera and volume/power module. There are also separate cut outs for the dual-LED flash, lasers for the laser auto-focus, and one at the bottom for the speaker. Speaking of the speaker, it does sound just as good with this case, as it does without the case.
On the inside, there is a hard case, which holds your LG G3 in place while it’s sitting in the Dandy Diary case. Which makes sense and most cases like this one have that feature as well. All in all, it’s a pretty great case. I’m not a big fan of wallet cases of flip covers, but this is definitely one that I’d rock on my LG G3 for a while. Right now, Verus is selling this one for $21.99 on Amazon, and it’s something I’d definitely recommend everyone go and pick up.
