Huawei Releases IFA 2014 Teaser, With Cats, FingerPrint Sensors and More

IFA is just about 2 weeks away, in fact two weeks from now we’ll already know everything about the Galaxy Note 4. Technically IFA starts on September 5th and runs through the 10th. But all the press conferences are on September 3rd and 4th. Huawei’s event is set for 3pm on September 4th. Which for those us in the states, that’s 9am ET, and 6am PT. So yeah, it’s pretty early for us. But what exactly is Huawei announcing? Well they released a teaser this morning for it.

We aren’t exactly sure what to gather from this teaser, but we know we’ve got some stuff coming from Huawei in 2 weeks. The teaser, shown above, shows a fingerprint sensor, some math, security (in the form of a safe) as well as some cats. So we’re sure we’ll see some new security features from Huawei, but other than that, your guess is as good as ours. We’re assuming that Huawei is announcing a new phone at IFA this year, that will probably not come to the US. Although we also said that about the Ascend Mate 2 earlier this year, and that came over here. A bit late, but better than never, I guess.

We’ll be covering Huawei’s press conference along with all the other press conferences going on that week. That includes Samsung, Acer, ASUS, Lenovo, Sony and even Motorola. We’re going to have lots of new toys once September starts! Which press conference are you looking forward to the most? Most of you will probably say Samsung or Sony. Hopefully Sony brings the Xperia Z3 over here soon after launch though. Let us know in the comments below which press conference you’re most looking forward too, also let us know what you think Huawei has planned for us. September gonna be busy.
