iPhone Users Really Want to Own A Samsung, Don't be Ashamed to Admit it

Samsung loves to make fun of other phones, especially the iPhone, in their TV commercials.  The last few commercials had tone it down a bit as Samsung was on a mission to let everybody know the Galaxy S 5 is really a wonderful device.  Then they wanted to let everybody know how wonderful the camera on the Galaxy S5 is and they took us on a tour through Italy filming the beautiful countryside.  I guess Samsung is feeling a little cocky again, although Lord knows why, so they are taking shots again at their favorite target, Apple, the iPhone and their users.

The new ad that you can watch below, claims that iPhone users desperately want a new Galaxy S5, but are ashamed to admit it.  Samsung has just the thing to correct that situation and make the former iPhone users feel right at home – the new Samsung Experience Shops in your local Best Buy.  At the Samsung shops, you can get personalized help, actually use the device and feel at ease with your decision to drop your iPhone and move up to a Samsung.

In the video, you will be introduced to Lance.  He really wants to be part of the Samsung scene – with a larger display and where the cool people hang out.  He’s like a guy that wants to ask out the prettiest girl in school, but doesn’t think he’s good enough…when in reality, he could be missing out on meeting the perfect mate.  Well, Samsung doesn’t want you to miss out on their “prettiest girl,” the Galaxy S5.  The Samsung Experience Shop will help you over the jitters and hook you up with the smartphone you really would like to live with.

Samsung is the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer and tries to intimidate users of other phones to switch – much like Apple does with their ads…making you feel inferior if your don’t own an iPhone.  Samsung and Apple are always at odds with one another whether it is in the courtroom or on their balance sheets – something that Samsung has not been happy with lately.  At the end of Q2, Samsung posted a 25-percent drop in their operating profits, and that was the third consecutive quarter of declining profits.  But no matter how much they lose, you can be sure they will keep spending money on commercials, telling us just how wonderful they really are.
