Lenovo Vibe X2 Poses For The Camera Yet Again

About a week ago we’ve seen a leaked roadmap showing Lenovo’s upcoming device which will launch this year. One of those devices mentioned was the Lenovo Vibe X2. We’ve also seen this device certified by TENAA (China’s FCC) recently. Chinese social network, Weibo, is a constant source of leaked material. Lenovo Vibe X2 images surfaced there and we bring them to you, you can check them out in a gallery down below. Front and back of this device actually reminds me of Xperia devices, the side on the other hand are a completely different story. As you can see there’s a lot of color there, and it looks… well, not that good because of it, at least in my opinion. You can see 4 stripes on the left and the right side, black, white, slightly pink and the last one is something between red and orange, at least it looks like it on the images. This device looks really premium and metal seems to be the material of choice here, though the colors used are just not that good looking, at least no in the pictures. Perhaps some of you will actually appreciate this, but that just doesn’t add up with the rest of this phone’s design. You’ll notice power / lock button as well as volume rockers at the right side of the device as well as pogo pins on the back for connecting accessories.

The device is expected to arrive in two variants, the X2-CU and X2-TO. The former one is said to be powered by MediaTek’s MT6596M octa-core CPU (four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores closed at 1.5 GHz) while the X2-TO will allegedly feature Intel’s 2.2GHz dual-core chip. The device is expected to sport a 5-inch IPS 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. 13-megapixel camera is expected to be its main camera with a 5-megapixel shooter being located at the front. Android 4.4.2 KitKat will allegedly come pre-installed and 2250mAh battery will be here to make sure you don’t run out of power in the middle of the day.

This device is expected to go on sale in the third week of September (check out the roadmap above), but we’ll probably see it showcased at IFA in Berlin first.
