Niantic Labs Releases Teaser Trailer For Season 2 Of The Web Series Ingress Obsessed

If you’re a fan of Ingress from the famed Niantic Labs, than you may already know of the Ingress Obsessed web series that has already gone through season one. If you follow the series, you may know that it’s about to debut season 2 in the near future, and today Ingress and the team at Google’s Niantic Labs has just released a preview teaser trailer of the upcoming season 2 of Ingress Obsessed, which premiers on September 2nd. If you have never heard of Ingress Obsessed before, it chronicles the Ingress adventures of two sister agents who play Ingress together, as they begin a journey that can keep them connected even from across the country.

Ingress Obsessed is a web series that Niantic Labs debuted earlier this year, which is a player driven web series that focuses on the two Ingress player sister agents Rebecca B(rbfly)and Christina S(Wrenagade) during their early adventures playing the game and learning the ins and outs, although the entire web series follows teams of players from different locales and displays the adventures and challenges that teams and players overcome, as they embark in a hugely popular game that forces them to interact with the world outside around them. Ingress is a masterpiece for the way it has brought many people together to work as a team and interact with one another, people who have never met, people who may have never given the time of day to travel around to get to some of the locations where Ingress portals exist had the game not been introduced. Ingress Obsessed displays all of this and gives a real world look into the lives of those who play the game, and just how awesome it is.

Ingress is massive on a global scale, and it only grows now that iOS users are able to get involved. Ingress Obsessed opened up to the world some of the most epic moments between players with the transatlantic mission that took place in Florida earlier this summer, called operation Megalodon, as well as operation Emerald Fire that took place around the same time, which required enlightened agents to complete an objective that could only be reached by boat and dirtbikes in southern California. If you haven’t yet begun to check out Ingress Obsessed but you do play Ingress(whether a veteran of the game or a newcomer)now is as good of a time as any to get caught up with season 1 as season 2 is nearing its premiere. Stay safe out there agents, and don’t forget to check out the season 2 teaser trailer below.
