This year’s IFA in Berlin is only days away and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 leaks keep coming – I know those leaks keep us all in business, but I am so tired of them, as I’m sure you are, and we cannot all wait until the real thing actually appears. Love it or hate it, you know you can’t wait to see to see the new Galaxy Note 4 – lovers will fall even more in love and haters can’t wait to criticize it…but everybody will sneak a peek.
Speaking of peeks…the picture above is a poor photo of a Galaxy Note 4 poster that will be going up at the big Unpacked 2014 Episode 2014 event at IFA 2014 – and shows QHD on the poster. The picture below shows the Galaxy Note 4, model number SM-910T, has made an appearance on Samsung’s Mobile website in the form of a UAProf (User Agent Profile). Both of which only go to reconfirm that the Note 4 will have the QHD 2560 x 1440 display…I think we can ‘ink’ that display in the books, but that should come as no surprise by now.
There really isn’t much we do not know about the Galaxy Note 4 by now, other than maybe the exact look and feel of the device. We expect it to be similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5 – bubble-like design on the back, hopefully a real metal frame and/or trim. It should come with the same IP67 certified resistance to both water and dust. It should also include the Heart Rate Monitor on the back and fingerprint scanner on the physical front home button. There should be an ultraviolet sensor that will help automatically adjust the screen brightness in order to help see the AMOLED screen even better.
The screen will definitely be the QHD variety with 2560 x 1440 pixels – which should look awesome on the 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display giving it a 515 pixels-per-inch (PPI). There may also be a few screen extras – like the ability for the screen to “set” – the screen can ‘freeze’ to save battery life when sitting still. There will be two models – one with the Exynos 5433 64-bit octa-core processor and another with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 couple with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This is certainly a microSD card slot to add up to 128GB of storage. The Note 4 will have an improved 16MP camera that finally will have OIS and a 3.7MP front-facing camera (FFC) for terrific video chatting and selfies. It will certainly have the newest 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you are excited about the new Note 4…as always, we would love to hear from you.
